This is a first for me and my blog; A review! OK, it’s really not much of a review but rather a recommendation!

Whether you’re looking for a professional photographer or work in the photography industry, you know this simple truth: Traditional marketing techniques, be it magazine/newspaper ads, phone book ads, etc., don’t reach this generation very well. Having only started my photography business last year, this is a truth I had to learn the hard way! My undeclared New Year’s resolution this year is to develop a much better marketing strategy and let people know I’m here! In my quest for information, I recently discovered an awesome podcast that is helping me discover how to market in 2010. It’s impacted me and how I do business and I’m sure it will for others, as well. It’s called “New Media Photographer“. The host, Rosh Sillars, releases the weekly podcast as well as posts regular blog entries to newmediaphotographer.com, all geared toward helping the photographer better relate to his/her clients.
