I had to share this gem with you all! I wanted to test a specific type to lighting configuration so I grabbed one of my favorite subjects, my 4-year-old daughter. And, as usual, she didn’t disappoint! I just love the expression on her face in this one. Still makes me laugh!

I did something I hadn’t done in many years. I pointed a camera at something that wasn’t human! Yeah, that might sound lame but the last time I did anything serious like this was 20+ years ago when I’d spend my weekends in Yosemite Valley. This is one of the shots I really liked from my shoot near Lake Guntersville last Saturday.
Today was a fun day! How much more fun can one have than running a test shoot with 4/5 of his kids! They all like hamming it up in front of the camera! Good times!

I haven’t been talking much about current projects for a reason. I have been working on a secret project this week. It was a Valentines’ gift for a very lucky husband and couldn’t be revealed until now. Here are a few from my shoot last Sunday. And for those who will ask, no, this is not a model. This is a client who wanted to surprise her husband! She was simply amazing in front of the camera!
